アメリカでは1997年11月11日に リリースされたビデオコレクション。 日本では1998年1月1日に ようやくリリースされました。 収録曲は全てアルバム 「Galore」からのもので、 The Cureには珍しくインタビューや アウトテイクなどを含まないシンプルなもの。 "Why Can't I Be You?"から "Close To Me"までは 既にビデオ「Picture Show」に 収録されていますが、 "Why Can't I Be You?"と "Hot Hot Hot!!!"の2曲は、 「Picture Show」に入っていたロングバージョンとは違う シングルミックスバージョンを収録し直しています。 また、唯一アルバム「Galore」から ビデオに収録されなかった"Strange Attraction"は アメリカ向けのみのシングルカットで ビデオが制作されなかったため。 なお"Gone!" の中に出てくるライブシーンは、 1996年8月11日アメリカツアー中に 撮影されたものですが、"Gone!"は ヨーロッパのみでシングルカットされたために 結局アメリカでは、"Gone!"のビデオは ほとんどオンエアされませんでした。 |
